now showing in the hanson gallery Common Thread by Elizabeth Morisette On display March 21st May 3rd The ability to innovate the approach to artistry is what keeps work alive. Elizabeth Morisette continues to participate in transformative quilting workshops that refine their craft. Inspired by traditional log cabin techniques and the quilts of Gees Bend they began experimenting with structure and storytelling through fabric. Amid current news coverage consumed by Morisette certain repeated words sparked their creative process influencing patterns colors and textures.
