Navigator Afterschool students recently celebrated a joyous occasion as they welcomed little Raven into the world. The Tamassee community extends their heartfelt gratitude to Crystal Chavez for generously providing the eggs that the students have been diligently caring for over the past couple of weeks. Under the guidance of Jennifer Holland, the students have been observing the fascinating stages of chick development inside the incubation chamber. Using a flashlight in a darkened room, they were able to see the incredible transformation as life began to flourish. Many students were amazed and captivated when they noticed the chicks moving and shifting within the eggs, a clear sign that new life was taking shape. This experience not only deepened the students' understanding of the life cycle but also enriched their appreciation for the wonders of nature and the joy of nurturing new life. (fb)
