FIREARM SAFETYTRAINING MARKSMANSHIP PRACTICE ADULT YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAM ABOUT NORTHWOODS In 1992 the Northwoods Shooting Sports Education Center Inc. was founded out of a recognized need for a formal shooting range for area community members and local organizations to be able to shoot in a safe formally designed firing range. The project was a cooperative effort between several local and state organizations with the interest of providing a range for general firearm safety training marksmanship practice and adultyouth educational programs.
