Misspits Rescue is a 501(c)3 registered non profit, foster based rescue and sanctuary. We rescue and adopt dogs and offer safe sanctuary to farm animals. Misspits Rescue is focused on efforts to reduce the suffering of animals, focusing primarily on dogs. In the accomplishment of this mission, Misspits Rescue attempts to reduce the pain, suffering, and cruelty of animals by rescuing animals from dangerous situations, removing animals from situations of neglect or cruelty, seeking to provide medical care for unwanted or injured animals, all with the objective of protecting and rehabilitating the animals as to place them into safe, healthy homes. Misspits Rescue is a rescue group that takes in unwanted animals from the following sources: shelters, puppy mills, owner surrenders, strays, and other non-profit rescue groups. The rescue program is conducted by volunteers who support and care for the dogs until a new home can be found. All operations of Misspits Rescue are provided through donations of volunteer time and donated facilities.
