Annie C's mission is to support & promote positive, empowering, loving & healthy communities for vulnerable children, youth & families with the goal of preventing the need for foster care; eliminate barriers to success for young adults w child welfare hx. Annie C's mission is to provide support to foster, adoptive and kinship families as well as young people who have experienced foster care through trainings, support groups,referral services, and recruitment of families for children who need them. Annie C is working to develop a purposeful, intergenerational neighborhood where Young adults and seniors live side by side and engage in mutual support; ensuring that these same individuals will develop healthy, caring relationships. We believe that through a supportive neighborhood that incorporates vibrant senior citizens as mentors and community services designed to help all residents, everyone will achieve their maximum potential.
