Friends of Big Marsh is a 501c3 non-profit organization which supports the work of the Chicago Park District at Big Marsh Park through fundraising, bike park development, and community engagement. Friends is committed to: * Improving public health through active and passive recreation * Creating and operating a world-class venue for bicycle recreation that benefits all ages and abilities * Enhancing, monitoring and maintaining the park's sustainable natural habitats that allow native marsh inhabitants to return and thrive * Stimulating the local economy by creating education and job training opportunities, and attracting regional and national audiences to the park.
