Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City (BHGH of KC) helps academically capable and motivated boys in need to meet their full potential and become men for others by providing a value-centered, family-like home, opportunities and education through college. Statement of Values: Education is critical to reaching one’s full potential. Spirituality and an active faith-life are essential elements of healthy personal development. Children have the capacity to transcend their circumstances if given a safe environment, opportunities, and loving support. Integrity, honesty, respect, a willingness to love, and service to others are important measures of personal success. Potential can be realized if individuals are responsible for their destinies and actions. All children deserve the guidance, support and opportunities necessary to reach that potential. Respect for the dignity, value, unique perspectives, and talents of every individual is the foundation of positive social and emotional development, as well as strong and vibrant communities.

Kansas City Affiliate Closes | Boys Hope Girls Hope Network Kansas City Affiliate Closes by Jenny Jennifer Starkey Aug 8 2024 Affiliates Kansas City We are grateful to all who have served at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Kansas City. After careful consideration and assessment of various factors Boys Hope Girls Hope no longer has an affiliate in Kansas City as of August 1 2024. The residential home at the Kansas City affiliate was closed at the end of the 202223 school year. Since there is no longer a Boys Hope Girls Hope program operating there we have agreed with the Kansas City board to end the affiliation.
