HOPE’S CHANCE HORSE SANCTUARY MISSION STATEMENT HCHS mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, train, and/or give sanctuary to horses caught in perilous situations including, but not solely restricted to cases of abuse or neglect, and horses held in slaughter and pre-slaughter facilities. We will humanely act on behalf of horses that were once family pets, working animals, or horses that have potential for being useful. Horses will be available for adoption to qualified outside persons once they are deemed ready. Horses no longer able to function in a manner suitable for adoption may find refuge in this sanctuary for the remainder of their lives with the appropriate food, shelter, grooming, and veterinary/farrier care.
