Our mission is to preserve the scenic beauty and historic character that have made the Eastern Panhandle attractive; to promote a healthy , balanced local economy by preserving farmland and encouraging appropriate development; and to encourage stewardship of the region's natural resources. Our vision is a Panhandle that includes abundant farmland, greenways, open space, safe drinking water, and the integrity of cultural and natural heritage.
