Makam New York founded by internationallyrenowned vocalist Ahmet Erdodular in 2007 and incorporated in 2011 holds a vision of revitalizing the Ottoman artistic lineage as part of a wider movement to reclaim Turkeys place as a leading center of cosmopolitan contemporary culture.
