Educating patients about their health can have a significant impact on their daily lives—whether by reducing or resolving symptoms or helping them better understand their condition. This education improves their overall quality of life. "I chose to become a primary care physician assistant to help expand access to both acute care and preventive medicine. Meet Jantzen Davis, a Clinic Office Assistant at Cox Barton County: Health care relies on a dedicated team of individuals working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. One essential team member is Jantzen Davis, a clinic office assistant who brings warmth, positivity, and purpose to his role every day. Jantzen joined CoxHealth just over a year ago, drawn to the health care field by his passion for meeting new people and helping others. He views every patient interaction as an opportunity to alleviate stress, provide a warm welcome, and offer support. “I’ve always loved meeting new people,” Jantzen shares with a smile. “Being the first point of contact at two clinic locations gives me the chance to create a warm and welcoming experience, and I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable and cared for.” His dedication benefits not only the patients but also the staff and providers he works with. Jantzen takes pride in being a team player, willing to step in and assist others whenever needed. “Whether it’s helping a patient or taking a bit of the burden off my coworkers and providers, I’m here to support my whole team,” adds Jantzen.
