The Alliance is a nonprofit whose mission is to maintain high-quality drinking water in Beaver Lake. TO MAINTAIN A LONG-TERM, HIGH QUALITY DRINKING WATER SUPPLY TO MEET PRESENT NEEDS AND CONTINUING GROWTH OF THE REGION.

Tributaries of Beaver Lake including the West Fork Middle Fork and East Fork of the White River Richland Creek Headwaters and War Eagle Creek offer a diverse and stunning variety of aesthetic beauty wildlife and cultural heritage as they flow along their course to Beaver Lake. From Harrison Arkansas to Westville Oklahoma over 500000 people rely on Beaver Lake for drinking water industry and recreational activities such as boating fishing birding and swimming.

Beaver Watershed Alliance
The City of Elkins is seeking community input to select the perfect name for Bunch Park's exciting new project. The Alliance has been honored to partner with the City of Elkins to help restore the prairie near Bunch Park. With continuing support from the city, the community, and the Alliance, the Parks and Recreation Committee has been working hard to create a space that will provide: -A thriving habitat for wildlife and pollinators -Native plants that stabilize soil and safeguard the water quality of the White River, which runs along the prairie and Bunch Park -An outdoor learning lab for schools to use -Scenic walks for the community and visitors along mown paths with beautiful views of the river We look forward to watching this project develop and positively impact our community.
