Our Mission The Haven at Skanda is a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary located in Cazenovia New York taking in some of our countrys most badly abused and neglected farm animals and giving them the support they need to heal and the space to emerge as who they really are. Because the animals are so beautifully able to let go of trauma and live in the present moment with such innocence and joy they become loving role models showing us what is possible. For this reason Skanda offers a wealth of programs giving people especially children the chance to experience the animals love and brilliance for themselvesl and discover new possibilities.
