THE MISSION OF PARENTS FOR GREAT CAMDEN SCHOOLS (PGCS) IS TO EMPOWER, MOBILIZE AND STRENGTHEN THE VOICE OF EVERY NEW JERSEY PARENT TO ADVOCATE FOR ALL CHILDREN TO RECEIVE A HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION. PGCS HAS EMERGED AS THE PARENT SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY GROUP IN AN EDUCATION ECOSYSTEM WITH A VARIETY OF AUTONOMOUS PUBLIC SCHOOLS INCLUDING DISTRICT, RENAISSANCE AND CHARTER SCHOOLS. OUR WORK IN CAMDEN MEETS A CRITICAL NEED - ENSURING PARENTS IN CAMDEN HAVE THE NECESSARY SUPPORT TO ACCESS HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES, AS WELL AS, A MECHANISM TO ADVOCATE FOR GREAT EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CAMDEN CHILDREN.
