Goodfellows – Bringing Christmas to the Children of Raleigh since 1934 Sunday December 15 2024 Goodfellows has been supporting those in need in the Raleigh community since 1934. This effort led by theRaleigh Jaycees started as a holiday food drive for those impacted by the Great Depression ensuring families would have food through the holidays and winter months. In recent history Goodfellows brought Christmas to the less fortunate children of Wake County with a day of oneonone attention filled with a shopping spree for their basic needs a traditional holiday feast with all the trimmings festivities gifts and a special visit from Santa Claus. This year we are excited to try something new.
