Evansville Historical Foundation We Bring History to Life Evansville Historical Foundation Preserving the Past for the Future The Evansville Historical Foundation EHF was founded by Alf Thompson with the purpose of preserving the history of Evansville and the surrounding area for current and future generations to enjoy. EHF maintains offices in the original Thompson family home. The surrounding campus features twelve historic or period replica structures complete with displays photographs and artifacts from the areas colorful history. EHF maintains archives which provide a wealth of information on the history of Evansville and the surrounding area.
