The mission of the Downtown Hays Development Corporation (DHDC) is to foster awareness and promote Downtown Hays as a vibrant center of commerce, recreation, arts, government and history that serves the people of Hays, the surrounding region and visitors from around the world. The DHDC will work to prevent the deterioration and enhance the viability of the community's cultural centers, historical landmarks and public infrastructure important to the community's economic and cultural well-being.
