Join our adventure as we connect with locals around the world, experience their culinary traditions, and share their heritage recipes. In response to the homogenization of food culture and the rapid decline of household cooking within the US, the CHC was formed. The organization aims to raise awareness and reverence around the personal and environmental benefits of developing and practicing food traditions within local communities (food sovereignty). The organization is currently working on two main initiatives; the establishment of a multimedia production company which focuses on the documentation of traditional food making within indigenous societies and an online database that contains traditional recipes, food customs, food history, and other pertinent information. Our content will be available virtually on our website and in person through cooking classes, events , and educational lectures.
