The Adirondack Rail Trail The Adirondack Rail Trail will be one of the nations premier yearround recreation trails for bicyclists runners walkers birders and wheelchair users as well as for snowmobiles snowshoeing and skiing in winter. The trail will serve users of all ages and abilities. It will enable residents and visitors to enjoy safe healthful exercise commune with nature and soak up Adirondack history. All this in a peaceful safe scenic setting along a path with no more than a 2 grade.
