Receiving an award is more than just bringing home a trophy. It's about rewarding your chapter and alumni for the hard work you've done, and gives your men something to rally behind. It's not just about winning top chapter (although that is nice). There are awards for alumni, volunteers, individual members, and many others. You don't fill out an award application just for yourself, you do it to honor the legacy of the incredible work your chapter does. And of course, trophies are nice too.
