1.1 The purpose for which the Hafenkapelle is formed is set forth in its Articles of Incorporation which are on file with the Florida Secretary of State. 1.2 The Hafenkapelle is established within the meaning of IRS Publication 557 Section 501(c) (4) Organization of the Internal Revenue Code, and shall be operated exclusively for/to: a.) Promote the enjoyment of music and provide its members the opportunity to play it; b.) Rehearse and play both German and American music; c.) Stimulate interest in German music and culture; d.) Participate in cultural exchanges between the United States of America and Germany; e.) Work with the youth of local communities to further the aforesaid goals to stimulate interest in the music of Germany and the United States of America; f.) Engage and assist in community projects by providing services for benefit concerts; g.) Participate in civic parades, engage in fund raisers for civic organizations and arrange musical excursions from Germany to perform at
