Welcome to the Avalon Shores Civic Associations ASCA community website. Avalon Shores was established in 1932 as a summer vacation community of small cottages owned primarily by residents of the greater Baltimore and Washington areas. Since then the community has grown to become a vibrant neighborhood of approximately 580 homes most of whom are yearround residents. Avalon Shores is a Maryland Special Community Benefit District SCBD therefore we do not have a homeowners association HOA.
