The Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company protects the Town of Cheswold, half the Town of Kenton, and the surrounding area with Fire, Rescue, and EMS service. The Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company is located in Kent County Delaware and operates two engines, one tower ladder, one rescue pumper, two BLS units, one brush truck, one marine unit, and houses the Kent County Special Operations Team. THE COMPANY IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATES AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY PROVIDING FIR E PROTECTION AND RESCUE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY AND FOR THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL ENJOYMENT AMONG ITS MEMBERS WITHIN KENT COUNTY, IN THE STATE OF DELAWARE.

CHESWOLD VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY Your Future is Now Volunteer Opportunities The department is looking for individuals of all types with a desire to find their calling while serving a diverse and rapidly growing town. Opportunities to serve range from responding to fire and EMS incidents to supporting the department through community education and administration. No experience is necessary and all training is paid for by the department and conducted either inhouse or at the Delaware State Fire School. Firefighters and EMSOnly members work handinhand with Kent County EMS staff to respond to a variety of emergencies and operate in many areas of responsibility.
