To Highlight the Lasting Significance of the 1938 Evian Conference To Preserve and Promote the History of Judaism in Sosua, Dominican Republic To Commemorate the Historic Legacy of Las Hermanas Mirabal “Las Miraposas” To Restore and Remember the Lost Stories of the Indigenous Taino Culture This will be achieved by the construction of a Jewish Dominican Cultural Education Center in Sosua which will embody the many interconnected cultural and synergistic elements of the Jewish and Dominican cultures and history of the Dominican North Coast.
