Lake Tahoe is now 100% full! For the first time since 2019 Lake Tahoe has reached its highest legal limit at 6229 feet above sea level! Bonus points if you can guess the lake’s temperature 🌊 😉 I can’t in good faith post this without the reminder that in less than one month we will have the trashiest day in Tahoe, a yearly July 4th consequence. 🚮 My number one tip is to right now put trash bags in your car, beach bag, diaper bag, whatever. Not only will you be able to cleanly pack out your trash, but guarantee you can fill it with trash you find around you without much effort. Bonus points if you pack a carabiner because you may be hauling said trash bag back to your car with the guarantee of filled bear boxes around you!
