This past Tuesday, the Little Rock City Board of Directors approved the ShotSpotter contract after EXPUNGING the previous vote where it FAILED. And even as we make this post, there is another plan in the works to expand the shot spotter coverage area by a 2 mile radius. This new radius would include Ward 6 (primarily focused on John Barrow). The lack of transparency and that had to occur to get this vote to pass speaks volumes. And despite being gaslit, constantly by telling citizens that their voices matter, this board has shown us that it only does things to serve their best interests.
