We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization, providing fine music in the greater Charleston Area. Members of the band come from all walks of life who love to play and perform for our community, including professional musicians and teachers, as well as others who desire to play. We perform marches by John Philip Sousa, Henry Filmore, and others; medleys of Broadway show tunes; patriotic music; band adaptations of some symphonic works by great composers from Mozart to Leonard Bernstein, as well as special works for band by American, Latin American, and European composers. Our mission is to provide free concerts to the public so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our musical heritage.
