The organization was formed to support the Legal Resources Centre of South Africa (the “LRC”), an independent public interest law firm advocating for the rights of poor and marginalized people in South Africa. The organization assists the LRC financially, contributes to its work through joint initiatives, and helps publicize its accomplishments in the United States and globally.
