Our vision is for a kinder, healthier and more beautiful world through Japanese gardens. We connect gardens as well as people, promoting the welfare of the more than 250 Japanese gardens in North America and the people who love and care for them. We seek to ensure the sustainability, enduring value and social impact of Japanese gardens in North America for generations to come through the following: 1) Information sharing and networking opportunities 2) Professional training and development 3) Public education, conferences and symposia 4) Research and scholarly activities 5) Advocacy and public relations We have members hailing from the USA, Canada and Japan.
