May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a nationwide effort to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote access to mental health care resources and support. It's a powerful reminder that mental health is just as vital as physical health. Health Care Foundation for Ventura County recognizes the positive local impact made by Ventura County Behavioral Health, whose services help ensure individuals with chronic behavioral health conditions, regardless of income, have access to the care they need to heal, grow, and thrive! For more information regarding behavioral health services (mental and substance use) that may be right for you, please visit: https://vchca.org/behavioral-health All individuals depicted have provided consent for the use, disclosure, and publication of these photographs. HCFVC is pleased to provide Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) with a state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine. This advanced, noninvasive technology produces highly detailed images of internal structures, including organs, bones, muscles, and blood vessels. With this cutting-edge tool, VCMC can deliver more accurate diagnoses and ensure the best possible treatment outcomes for patients. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Aramont Charitable Foundation, the Weinberger Trust in memory of Laurence M. Weinberger, and the many generous donors whose support has made this transformative equipment possible for VCMC and our community. This addition marks VCMC’s second MRI machine, significantly increasing imaging capacity, reducing patient wait times, and enhancing access to critical diagnostic services in Ventura County.
