The mission of the Corporation shall be to bring libraries and literacy to the children of Ethiopia through the establishment of children’s libraries, school library partnerships, and portable libraries. Emphasis will also be placed on the development of literature for children in their first language or “mother tongue” through support of local authors and illustrators.
