Our Mission Formally established in 1993 and granted status as an international nonprofit organization in 1995 The Organization of Fish and Wildlife Information Managers OFWIMis comprised of professionals representing state and federal agencies local governmentsacademia and private firms that share the mission of promoting themanagement and conservation of natural resources byfacilitating technology and informationexchangeamongmanagers of fish and wildlifeinformation. We aim to bridge the gap betweennatural resource and technical disciplines through the promotion of interdisciplinary partnering collaboration sharing of ideas and best management practices in order to effectively apply technology to the information and data needs of natural resource management. Membership Benefits OFWIM emphasizes coordination outreach technical assistance and continuing education. Objectives within each of these focus areas are met through the production of OFWIMs Annual Conference OFWIM will be holding our 2025 conference and business meeting in Lewes Delaware from October 6th 9th.
