We are a public foundation and local arts agency serving the city of Desert Hot Springs, CA and immediately surrounding areas.Our mission is twofold:1. Unite Our Creative Community - providing social events and online forums for creative people to meet and connect, and membership programs to provide promotional support and technical assistance to creative professionals and students of the arts.2. Ignite Our Creative Economy - advocating for investment in arts and cultural programming and education, media career pathways, creative business incentive programs, and community visioning forums for a strong infrastructure for supporting creative industries.The ultimate purpose is to weave the fabric of our currently distressed community into a new, healthier pattern, using the strong and vibrant fibers of the arts. Seeking a balance between poverty and gentrification, our strategies avoid displacement and enhance quality of life for local residents.
