Four years ago, Rory, the remarkable man who shaped Chengeta, lost his life on the frontline of conservation, alongside David Beriáin and Roberto Fraile, the dedicated journalists documenting his work supporting critical wildlife conservation in Burkina Faso. Today, we remember and celebrate Rory and his dedication to the wild world. His passing stands as a reminder of the constant threats rangers face in their line of work. Making sure rangers are fully kitted and adequately equipped should be a priority across conservation areas.
