THE A I M CENTER INC
The AIM Center clubhouse provides psychosocial rehabilitation services to create hope, community and social change to enrich and celebrate the lives of people living with serious mental illness. Since 1989, the AIM Center has been helping people lead fulfilling and productive lives, while successfully managing their mental health. We do this by offering radical acceptance, personalized support, practical resources, and expert guidance. Using the Clubhouse model of psychosocial rehabilitation through Social Practice, we develop an individualized recovery plan with every member. We empower Clubhouse members to build relationships and work toward wellness side-by-side with other members and staff. Membership is open to any adult with a diagnosis of Serious Mental Illness (SMI). Recovery is a lifelong process, and our philosophy is “Once a Member, Always a Member.” We are a private, nonprofit organization supported through foundations, public and private grants, and donations. We spent the day hanging out, learning more about their clubhouse, and sharing in the energy of their community. 🧡 What they didn’t know was that we also came bearing a surprise… the Clubhouse Voyager.
