We had been engaging ourselves in social sector for the last 15 years especially in the eye-care. I was moved personally by the findings of survey conducted by WHO that one out of every 3 blind people in the world lives in India. We have very closely seen the sufferings of blind persons. Many people in India still believe that blindness is a curse as they live the entire life in misery and darkness. A blind person becomes dependent on family members and others for day to day chores and financially because he loses earning capacity. The mission of “AD Foundation” is to save millions of people from becoming blind and to rehabilitate them so that they could lead a normal life of dignity.
