HELICOPTERS TOURISM & JOBS COUNCIL, INC., A 501(C)(6) TAX-EXEMPT ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED IN SEPTEMBER 2014 BY INDUSTRY STAKEHOLDERS TO 1) PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE HELICOPTER INDUSTRY IN NEW YORK AND ACROSS THE NATION, 2) LOBBY RELEVANT DECISION-MAKERS, AND 3) SAVE HELICOPTER INDUSTRY JOBS. THE VISION FOR HELICOPTERS MATTER, INC. IS TO SERVE AS A COALITION OF HELICOPTER INDUSTRY PLAYERS TO COMBAT INCREASING CALLS FOR HELICOPTER AIR TRAFFIC REGULATION. THE GOAL IS NOT TO FILL THE SHOES OF ANY INDUSTRY GROUP ALREADY IN EXISTENCE, BUT TO SERVE AS A FACT-BASED VOICE OF REASON WITH RESPECT TO THE REGULATION OF COMMERCIAL OPERATORS AND THE IMPACT THAT WOULD HAVE ON THE HELICOPTER AVIATION SECTOR AS A WHOLE.
