The Foundation builds on the leadership of the United Fresh Produce Association in nutrition policy and Lets Move Salad Bars to Schools, and our commitment to increasing fresh produce consumption.The Foundation is led by a Board of Trustees with program committees focused on key initiatives, including Let's Move Salad Bars to Schools and collaboration with school foodservice to make produce the “want to" choice for millions of children every day. The Foundation also aims to develop future committees focused on incentive programs to boost produce purchases by SNAP recipients. The United Fresh Start Foundation provides a unique platform to provide a fresh start for kids by increasing their access to fresh fruits and vegetables and to improve child nutrition.
