We pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebration. Now as we move into 2025, it is the perfect time to reflect on God’s guiding hand this past year and the many relationships that he has brought together to support the family of Casa and promote the children’s success and well-being. It is with this in mind that we pause to thank all of you who have provided faithful support this past year with finances and prayers because their success is your success. 2024 was fruitful indeed with the following successes: * The family of Casa celebrated 3 graduations: 1 high school, 1 elementary school, and 1 University graduate. * In addition, 2 of the boys started 4-year programs at their local university. One is studying law and the other is studying architecture. * One of Casa’s young adults participated in an overseas mission trip this year and has been inspired to start missionary school. He is now living in the dorm on the Youth with a Mission (YWAM) Campus, taking carpentry classes and preparing for missionary school in June. * As you know we have 3 university graduates from previous years, one with a nursing degree and the other with a 4-year degree in communications. Both have started families and are successful in their careers. * The director’s son graduated 2-years ago with a degree in architecture and is working in his field for a non-profit organization in Baja and serves as a role model and big brother to the children of Casa. * In addition, we have one boy who graduated from missionary school and now continues his missionary work with his wife and 2-year-old son. They have traveled to numerous countries including Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Their 2024 trips included sharing the gospel within the country of Brazil. We have a lot to celebrate at Casa and appreciate the many relationships that have made these successes possible. Please continue to keep directors, Alejandro (papa) & Aracelis (Mama), in your prayers as, along with the accomplishments, the family faces the many challenges that come with the task of raising teens! We pray that you and your families had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Aracelis shared these photos of the "Casa" familia enjoying a traditional turkey dinner and decorating their Christmas tree which always includes enjoying their favorite fruit punch for the holidays. Among the Casa family's blessings is the warm and loving environment that God has provided with Aracelis and Al who have spent over 20 years as "Mom" and "Dad", nurturing the children and guiding their lives! Each child that joins the family has a story to tell of abandonment and, in some cases, tragedy. They are typically frightened when they first arrive yet they soon learn that they are loved by God and the family He has provided for them. In addition, they know they have a safe shelter and food on the table. If they choose, they have the opportunity to achieve higher education where they can pursue their career dreams! Thank you to everyone that has helped in providing for the children through your financial support and prayers. We are very thankful for YOU.....
