Last week, Campo Verde High School Digital Photography student Delyla Aker was this year's winner of the Congressional Art Competition. Her artwork will be hung at the Capitol building in Washington, D.C.! Delyla, Campo Verde High teacher Lindsey Wallace, and 19 other students attended the Congressional Art Competition at Queen Creek Library. The Congressional Art Competition is held in every Congressional district around the country and the winners of each district competition get their artwork hung in the Capitol building in Washington DC.
