🚀Apollo needs a safe place to land so MARR can pull him from the shelter…are you his new Foster home?! He is currently in a Shelter in Springfield, IL, transport is available for fosters within MARR’s coverage area(details in post). Apollo is a 1 yr old, goofy boy who is in a shelter because the couple who had him split up and surrendered him to shelter. He is a playful goofball who enjoys tug of war. He is fully vaccinated and will be heartworm tested. He knows the Sit cue but needs more training, Apollo does not seem sure of himself playing with other dogs but needs further evaluation. Notes from evaluator: Apollo came right up to me to check me out in a friendly way, then he wanted to check out his surroundings. He is a big, strong boy at 95#s, he needs basic puppy training but was very friendly and didn’t show aggression in any way. The shelter said he got a little growly at the vet so muzzle training is definitely recommended. Apollo loves his toys and did resource guard a little bit, especially the rope which is his favorite.
