Yesterday, Partners for Dignity and Rights (PDR) awarded CTUL with the Community Power Award at their 20th Anniversary Gala. We are honored to receive this recognition from PDR! At the event Marfa, a CTUL Board member, told her story of leadership at CTUL, stating that, "to stop wage theft, we need to ensure that workers have a voice to complain about conditions without fear of retaliation so that employers and those who profit from wage theft are held accountable." We look forward to continuing the fight for worker voice and worker justice! (fb)
