We partner with other organizations and leaders to build a movement to win racial, gender and economic justice. We identify the root causes of injustice and work to shift the balance of power between those who have it and those who don’t to improve the lives of our communities for present and future generations.

Yesterday, Partners for Dignity and Rights (PDR) awarded CTUL with the Community Power Award at their 20th Anniversary Gala. We are honored to receive this recognition from PDR. At the event Marfa, a CTUL Board member, told her story of leadership at CTUL, stating that, "to stop wage theft, we need to ensure that workers have a voice to complain about conditions without fear of retaliation so that employers and those who profit from wage theft are held accountable.
