Makanalani is a nonprofit on Kauai with the goal to give youth & young adults the opportunity & blessing of camp no matter what their financial circumstance. With your help, we build stronger community connections, healthy friendships, & bright futures. Makanalanis mission is is to provide a humanitarian and religiously inspired outdoor education for youth who are disadvantaged in order to promote their well being and life outlookOffering children a chance to spend some time on a working farm where they can learn about the land, harvest fruit and vegetables, watch the shepherd with the sheep and feed the miniature donkeys is a great way to create opportunities for these children to grow and learn. Teaching them to be good stewards of the land will also give them a greater appreciation of the need to protect and respect the resources that we have. This opportunity will bring them into an environment that offers an abundance of new experiences and will allow them to try things first hand and help them develop skills that will be useful later on in life. Makanalani, life-changing camps for kids – Makanalani, life-changing camps for kids Support free lifechanging camps for our youth. GIFT FROM HEAVEN Makanalani meaning Gift from Heaven is a beautiful camp located on the North Shore of Kauai Hawaii where kids can come experience Gods love on a 130acre farm surrounded by animals and the beautiful Hawaiian scenery completely free of charge. HIGHLIGHTS Seeds of change Makanalani Kids exists solely to give lifechanging camps at no charge to youth who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience such a camp. These free camps located in a stunning environment inspire our young visitors to leave with the seeds of change knowing that life can be different.
