SUCCESS THROUGH EDUCATION PROGRAM
Success Through Education Program (STEP) works to end the cycle of recidivism in San Mateo County (CA) by providing life-changing, practical assistance to people who are or have been incarcerated. STEP uses proven expertise in the area of education and training to provide skill and interest assessment; literacy skill building; academic and vocational training; personal financial life skills; determination of resources and financial opportunities; career counseling; internships and mentoring counseling to complete each client's education so that they can successfully obtain employment and become positive contributing members of their communities.
