We're a non-profit electric membership cooperative dedicated to serving the electricity needs of our members since 1940. Keeping members updated on activities throughout the year. We are here to serve our members! PROVIDE ELECTRIC SERVICE TO MEMBER OWNERS ON A PATRONAGE BASIS. SERVE AN AVERAGE OF APPROXIMATELY 17,728 CONSUMERS MONTHLY.

Licking Valley Rural Electric Cooperative Over 75 years of bringing safe reliable affordable energy to the Mountains of Eastern Kentucky Licking Valley Rural Electric Cooperative is a nonprofit electric membership cooperative dedicated to serving the electricity needs of our members since 1940. Today we bring power to more than 16000 homes and 1000 businesses in a 200squaremile area of Eastern Kentucky serving Breathitt Elliott Lee Magoffin Menifee Morgan Rowan Wolfe counties. Licking Valley has 2033 miles of line to maintain. The average residential monthly kWh usage per consumer is 1025.
