The church has a food ministry mission that operates the LaVale United Church Food Pantry. The pantry serves neighbors in Allegany County Maryland by providing food to supplement their daily diets. Our pantry has 950 families with 2,400 members on our current registry. Last year we distributed 135,400 lbs. of food. The need for this service has grown this year and donations to the LaVale United Methodists Church Pantry will help us help our neighbors in need.
