Promoting school readiness for children and families. TREC works in partnership with the residents of rural, western South Dakota and is committed to providing quality services as well as access to community resources through responding to the evolving needs of rural communities with Head Start prenatal to 5 services, early childhood education, health and wellness programming, parent education, and other needed community programs. TREC's Purposes:* Assure the successful emotional, social, physical, cognitive, and self-esteem growth of children from birth to five; * Provide children with safe and supportive elarning environments; * Strengthen parenting, bonding, and involvement; * Strengthen the family; * Collaborate with and strengthen local communities; * Utilize technology in carrying out TREC purposes; * Function solely as a charitable organization that promotes the well being of families and communities.
