EDUCATION OF RESIDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY REGARDING FIRE DANGER AND THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER CLEARANCES AROUND STRUCTURES AND ALONG ROADS. FOR SEVERAL YEARS, THE COUNCIL HAS BEEN INSTRUMENTIAL IN FACILITATING LOCAL RESIDENTS IN OBTAINING GRANTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS SAFER REGARDING EGRESS AND INGRESS BOTH FOR RESIDENTS AND EMERGENCY PERSONELL.
