THE COASTAL SOCIETY IS DEDICATED TO ACTIVELY ADDRESSING EMERGING COASTAL ISSUES BY FOSTERING DIALOGUE, FORGING PARTNERSHIPS, AND PROMOTING COMMUNICATION AND EDUCATION.It is a national membership organization of scientists, educators, policy makers and regulators, and managers at federal/state/local governmental levels who, though from varied disciplines, work together to find solutions to pressing and emerging coastal resource challenges.
