It was a chilly, rainy day outside, but there was plenty of excitement inside as we officially cut the ribbon today on the new UM Health-Sparrow Eaton Oncology & Infusion Center! This facility expands access to leading-edge cancer care close to home. The new space also meets the rising demand of those living in and around Eaton County while providing direct access to the highly skilled specialists from the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center. The UM Health-Sparrow Eaton Oncology & Infusion Center is made possible, in part, by community donations and a grant from the state of Michigan. The project builds on U-M Health’s commitment to add services and improve access to the highest level of care for Mid-Michigan. Check out the photos below from this morning's ceremony and tours. (fb)
